About Souffront Contractors

Souffront Contractors Inc. is a Florida-licensed engineering and marine construction firm based in South Florida. We design, inspect, permit, and build for waterfront and concrete structures from Key Largo to Palm Beach — seawalls, docks and marinas, foundations, and structural concrete restoration.

Most waterfront problems get handed between three or four companies: an inspector who cannot design the fix, an engineer who cannot build it, and a contractor guessing at both. Souffront was built to remove those handoffs. The engineer who inspects your seawall is the engineer of record for its repair — and the crew that builds it works for the same firm, under the same contract, from the first site visit to permit closeout.

Every report is engineer-sealed. Every repair is engineer-scoped. Every fee is fixed and quoted upfront — inspections as a flat fee, never by the hour. Our team has produced thousands of structural reports for waterfront homeowners, condominium associations, marinas, real estate transactions, and municipal plans-review across Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe counties.

02 · Engineering leadership

Souffront Contractors is led by Oscar Yamir Souffront, a Florida-licensed structural engineer (License No. 72462) and member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Oscar personally leads the firm's inspection practice and serves as the engineer of record on every Souffront project — the same engineer who evaluates a structure designs its repair and signs and seals the final documents.

That continuity matters in coastal work. South Florida seawalls, docks, and waterfront foundations sit in the most aggressive corrosion environment in the continental U.S. — High-Velocity Hurricane Zone wind loads, saltwater exposure on every tide, and porous limestone soils. Diagnosing and repairing these structures correctly takes an engineer who works on them daily, not a generalist. Souffront's reports are accepted by insurance carriers, lenders, homeowner and condominium associations, and building departments across all four counties we serve.
